Anglo use HEIApply to bring together Students studying in US Universities with Employers in London who provide internships to enhance their studies with practical knowledge and gain valuable overseas work experience. Study Abroad Offices nominate students to apply to Anglo and get placed with an Employer and the system kicks in to collect the right information at the right time.

Anglo needed a SaaS platform to respond to their needs and evolve without needing to own the whole product. We supported Anglo to migrate from their legacy system over to a GDPR compliant system that met their requirements. With Anglo it is all about teamwork: bring together all the major stakeholders, including the Applicant, to ensure that the right Student gets placed smoothly with the right Employer.

Challenge 1

Bring the Partner University into play

Universities in the U.S nominate students to undertake internships. They hold critical information about these students and Anglo wanted to make information sharing and the nomination process as smooth as possible for partners.

Many partners, many placements

Anglo's partners - both at Universities in the U.S and companies in London offering internships - have different requirements. Their system and application forms, must take these differences into account, taking the right information from the right applicant in order to help make meaningful placements.

Integration with UKVI

In addition to the multiple possibilities for placements, applicants have varied backgrounds. Anglo needed their knowledge of sponsorship for VISAs to kick in and guide requests for documentation in order to comply with UKVI requirements.

Partner Portal
Each partner has access to a dedicated portal that provides resources, allows the upload of information and gives insight into progress. The buy-in created by the portal helps partners work together effectively, knowing what is required and when.

Multiple application routes
HEIapply is a flexible system that can be adapted to needs and allows many application routes - with different checklists, stages and application forms. The system fits around opportunities, even as they change in a fast-paced business world.

UKVI-designed workflow
Forms were designed to enable the collection of relevant information and documentation, which is exported in the format UKVI stipulate. It saves time for administrators and for applicants by focusing on UKVI requirements.
